With all their new support in DREV, Amazoness seem to be getting quite powerful, and I have a feeling that we'll be seeing more of them in locals and maybe even YCS.

Amazoness Queen saves your monsters from battle destruction, which saves golden oldie Swords Woman and makes her inhumanely useful. Amazoness Heirloom also provides this, and gives free destruction of basically any monster. Scouts also provides wonderful support, protecting her fellow Amazoness from Spell, Trap, and Effect Monster destruction. Couple this with Queen and your monsters are indestructible for the turn. And their Field Spell, Village, allows for replacement of their fallen warriors (and what does that teach us, kids?) and a 200 ATK boost.

Discuss! The future of Amazoness seems very hopeful. Although I doubt we'll see more support for it any time soon, the stuff we have now is very pleasing.

So far, I think the best new support is Trainer and Queen's Pawn. Trainer's ability to spin to the bottom of a deck stops a lot of effects, especially searchers, which need to go to the graveyard.

I'm also a fan of Heirloom, since it does terrible thing when comboed with Swords Woman. Overall, there's some nasty new stuff for my favorite archetype.

Trainer and Queen's Pawn are really good, but I still think Queen + Scouts is the best overall combo, especially since Queen's effect is continuous, and Scouts can be used either turn. And since it's a Quick effect it can be chained to almost anything, which is wonderful.

I agree, Queen and Scouts is a great combo. It protects your Amazons from basically anything, and your opponent really can't do much about it. In fact, best overall new card might just be Scouts.

I'd have to agree, mostly because Scouts doesn't have to combo with anything to make itself amazing. Neither does Queen, but when the Amazoness have Fighting Spirit, or Village, or other battle safety cards, Queen does not stand out as much as Scouts.

I don't play Amazonesses, and I haven't personally been up against one, but I just had to pop in and say this:

Queen + Tiger + Scouts = the most invincible blanket I've seen in Yu-Gi-Oh so far.
