Alright, I can understand that. I won't bother trying to put it in then. Thanks :]
EDIT: I was looking through the YCS decklists and I noticed that each and every deck ran Giant Trunade. I've never considered it to be useful, but now I'm seriously reconsidering. Should I run it? What should I switch it with?

You already put it in lol. I checked and you're right. That is pretty interesting to make note of. It's a good card though, so it makes sense after thinking about it for a while.

I posted that long before I switched xD I myself wouldn't think that it would be used, but since you only really need your hand empty during your Main Phase (Archfiend being the only exception) I guess it's okay to use to make sure you can do whatever you want safely. Just today I faced a player who had 3 in his backrow and I Trunaded. Then I OTK'd with 3 Launchers. He showed me the cards I bounced: MST, Dust Tornado, Dust Tornado. If I hadn't done that I would have lost ALL my Launchers! Trunade is really useful ;-;

Dang you were lucky! It just goes to show that you never know when putting things back in your hand will be useful.

I just caught word that Infernities won at Chicago, but I don't see any decklists for Infernities at all on the official blog. I'll have to do more investigating, but it would be awesome for Infernities to win!

Infernities did win. Link Decklists aren't up yet. I don't know if they'll be. The guy writing the article didn't even bother to write out the Infernity loop. It just says "a few moments and a few Infernity Launchers later" xD

Wow, only 5? Well that's not bad. Interesting decklists are interesting. I liked the third list you posted. No Avengers, only 2 Necromancers, 2 Dark Grephers + 1 Armageddon Knight. It's a very different deck.

Yeah that deck stands out. But it top'd, so it's good. I like the winner's deck best, though, it's very simple. I'm definitely going to take note of the Side Decks. There are lots of recurring cards I want to use now.

Right, the two best Infernity decks have practically the exact same sides. It's best to take some notes. I don't see why they use Light-Imprisoning Mirror, though, since people tend to make a big deal of Lightsworns being "non-existent."
Today I checked and NO Infernities made it to Top 16 at Nats, but a BW deck did. This is disappointing. I expected much better!

Wow fail :/ But I guess that means no banlist face-slap for us? Infernities haven't been winning much, so they could probably get under the banlist radar for a while like how Lightsworns have.

You never know with the banlist, but we may be leaning towards the safe side. There are numerous more obvious choices for the list to target (X-Sabers, cough cough?)

Speaking of the banlist, people have been saying they want our Archfiend and Launcher both to 1, but that's horrendously unfair to us. Decks shouldn't be destroyed by the banlist unless they're TOO powerful, but with the way Infernities have been loosing, why do people want the deck gone so badly?

|
Post by Kalin Kessler on Aug 12, 2010 21:58:13 GMT -5
Because they're all X-Saber or Froggy Monarch or Glad users that think their decks will be missed by the banlist and just want another good deck out of their way for next format...
Banlist predictions are always either really fair or really outrageous.

Don't be hating on them just because they have their TCG-exclusive so now it can't be on the banlist Darksoul :< But I'm going to agree, they ARE either really fair or really outrageous. I'm just upset that they have to always pick on one specific archetype each time.
