So I went to locals for the first time in forever to try out my new Infernity deck. I was placed in Advanced for the first time (Oh no! ) so I didn't really know what to expect. I lost my first match because I had tons of misplays. Froggy decks confuse the heck out of me so there were tons of times when I could have done something and I didn't. My second match was against Koa'Ki Meiru and I won both games. I FTK'd the first Duel. My third match was against Blackwings. It was 3 games long but I still won. My fourth match was against Lightsworns and it was 3 games but I still lost. I OTK'd one but the first duel I started with only Spells and Traps and the third duel I drew only one monster. In all it was rewarding. I got 5th place out of maybe 20 or so. Considering that I haven't been to locals for more than half a year and that this is the first time I'm using my Infernities there I'd say I did a pretty good job

Lightsworns and Froggy Anything are evil. I can understand why you misplayed, especially since it was your first time against someone serious. You did great, you should be proud of yourself. Just keep going to locals consistently and you should get much better.

Thank you ;D And yeah I'm going to try to go to locals more often now. Hopefully I'll learn when and when not to use Barrier against Froggies. xD

You should always negate Froggies unless its T Frog. But you'll get the gist of it after you play against them more.

Aww, I'm glad you had fun That's really all that matters, isn't it? (in my opinion, at least) And you learned stuff too, right?

Yes. Learning is the most important part of locals, I think. Since it gets you ready for regionals that way.
